FIND YOUR FOCUS,

find your STRENGTH,

find your warrior.

it has Changed many lives, mine being one of them.

Cold exposure, ice baths, meditation and breath work seem to be all the rave these days. And in my opinion, they should be. I believe we as humanity are becoming weaker mentally, emotionally and physically through certain programming. In my personal experiences, and witnessing many other people, from across the world; cold exposure and breathing techniques can help strengthen the mind, physical body and spirit. We can rewire ourselves neurologically and anatomically, taking back our strength and power. These are ancient practices that are being brought back to the modern days through people like Wim Hof.

Wim has been able to link the worlds between spirituality and science. He studied old eastern breath work techniques, and started to challenge our modern world and ways of thinking. He captured the interests of scientists and medical professionals with his story and has connected and helped change many lives, mine being one of them.

My beliefs and desires are to share, “If I can do it, YOU can do it!”

“MY LIFE WITH LYME LOVE AND MYSTERY…”

In 2018 I was extremely ill with Lyme disease. This took me on a wild adventure of self discovery. There were days that I could hardly walk from my bed to the bathroom. There were days that I could not eat. There were days that my body would go into full spasms, and I would shake and vomit. It was some of the most excruciating pain that I’ve ever experienced in my life, yet I am grateful for it and it has become one of my biggest teachers. I was a non-stop, workacholic type of person and my Lyme journey helped me learn the lessons of stillness, slowing down, and going inward.

I had tried all sorts of different healing modalities and from Western to Eastern medicines. I believe it was a combination of many different things that helped me become a new version of me. However, the strongest medicine I received was  meditation, breathwork and ice baths (cold exposure). I continue to use these practices on a daily basis to maintain a clear mind, strong body and loving heart.

My first cold plunge was absolutely awful! I had to have help to walk down the stairs into a homemade ice bath in the garden. I stepped into the cold and once both feet hit the ice, I started to sob and almost collapsed. My nervous system had been through so much. I did not know how to handle this experience, yet I was determined to heal. So I decided to strengthen my breathing practice and other meditative routines. Within a month, I was able to deepen my breath work practice to stay in the ice for up to 5-10 minutes. It got to the point where the ice was the only thing that took away my pain. The cold helped me focus my mind on healing and becoming my own warrior. After years of self study and practice I was able to focus and harness my energy in ways that astounded me. I wanted to share this “ice medicine” with everyone! And so I did. I started guiding friends and family members into the world of breath and ice. We then purchased a freezer for the hostel and made a permanent ice bath. From there it grew and I was able to assist travelers from around the world, to the deeper embodiment of our human experience.

My mantra or motto became: “Find your focus. Find your strength. Find your warrior.” I learned to call upon this power and truly embody it. I now share this with others because I know we all have the ability to tap into this magic and raw power.
